Beginning June 2nd, First Christian Church will host a support group for any and all in our community who are experiencing loss. You need not be a member of our church (or any church) to join - we want this group to be a safe space for people of all backgrounds and beliefs.
The group will meet at 2pm every Sunday from June 2nd to August 4th at First Christian Church (1806 Central Avenue).

On May 19th we celebrate Pentecost, the day the fire of the Holy Spirit filled the church. The scholar Gordon Fee refers to the Holy Spirit as “God’s empowering presence.”
Though God promises us power through the Spirit, all too often the challenges of life leave us feeling quite the opposite. Health, family, finances…the list could go on - all of these leave us feeling, not empowered, but disempowered.
If you’ve ever felt this way, this series is for you.
Join us each Sunday from May 19th and August 4th as we seek to discover afresh God’s power and presence in our lives.
